Alouette III Photo' work. The picture was shot with a FujiFilm Finepix S602 Zoom at 2048X1536, F8.0 at 1/600s in Fine mode. I first applied Automatic Colour balance with a temperature value of 5700K to compensate for the overcast day. Automatic Contrast Enhancement was left at default, Neutral Bias, Mild Strength and Natural Appearance. I noticed flash spots in the tree so I applied the noise filter to this shot too. I used the Salt & Pepper filter again at default settings, Speck=3 Sensitivity=4. I have noticed that if you try to apply this filter after you clarify, the success of the filter is less. I now put in the clarify filter at strength=2. No major change, but just helps to get to what I saw on the day. I experimented with the Saturation and Unsharp Mask and found there was no improvement across the range of settings, so I decided to exclude the use of these filters. |
